Great news from Houston! My repeat ultrasound found no "suspicious" lymph nodes in my neck. None! We are so thankful to God...
The doctor surprized us by wanting to start my next round of chemo right away, before we left for home. I had the treatment Friday evening and we drove home Saturday. This round of chemo is much harder. It takes the word "fatigue" to a whole new realm. Not only was I tired from the chemo, I got a cold and so did half the family. It has been the longest and hardest week. Thankfully, we are all getting better now. I only have this treatment every three weeks and now I only have three more total treatments to go. I'm counting down again. Thanks for all your prayers.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you got good news. I had been checking your blog every day and then my computer crashed! Got it back up now, and am so thankful to hear something good. We are getting great comments on Lyndi and Josh's engagement pictures. Looking forward to working with Billy at the wedding. It's coming so fast! Michelle

Jean,
ReplyDeleteIs your next treatment on 11/26? I will put the dates on my calendar, so I will remember to pray especially on those days. God Bless You, my friend, and may your Thanksgiving be the most blessed one ever--although in the midst of not feeling great.
Love you lots,
Dennie
Jean and family,
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to post the updates. I have just caught up this morning. We are praying for you each week, and it is encouraging to hear that you haven't been overwhelmed by sickness, although I am sure the fatigue has been hard.
It sounds like the end is in sight for these rounds of treatments.
Keep well!
Ted (for Melanie too)
