Treatments have been going fine. Just a little tired but not too much. My hair was getting thinner and thinner so this morning I shaved it. William and Victoria are enjoying the scarves and the hats. We are all going through this together! We're finding the fun in baldness!
Jean you are in my prayers along with your whole family. We love you all so much. Please let me know if you need more scarves or a wig from the office.
ReplyDeleteSending you love and hugs!

ReplyDeleteWe Yocums are praying for you. Your journey inspires our faith as we see the joy and even cheer you seem to have through it all. We are praying that God will touch you with His healing hand, and we love you and Billy and the kiddoes so much. Take good care; we pray God's presence will fill you with His peace.
Ron, Coleen, Glory, and Jubilee Yocum
So glad to know about your blog. I've been praying for you and wondering how you were making it through treatments. Kari misses Victoria at school. They will have to get together on a weekend sometime. Michelle
ReplyDeleteJean, thank you for giving us the privilege of taking this journey with you. I will be praying for your chemo treatment early tomorrow morning CA time, as Steve and I are doing our "power walks" :-) on the beach. That's when God puts you and your family on my heart. So precious to hear about how and the family are going through this together, and how you all are "finding fun in the baldness" Keeping a good sense of humor is worth it's weight in gold! Love you, Dennie
ReplyDeleteI like being able to read the blogs and keep up with your treatments. Half way through must feel good! Keep hanging in there. I am amazed by your braveness! Your attitude in this inspires me! I am praying each day for you. Each time I see Billy's bus I say a prayer too! Love those yellow buses. Who knew they would remind someone to pray??? Love you guys! Lori and Tom
ReplyDeleteI am trying to imagine you bald, and I think you would probably look good. Bald is in, although you have to have the eyebrows for it. It will be funny if your hair grows back curly!
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for you on Tuesday evenings (and sometimes in between).
Love,
Ted (for Melanie too)

That picture of you with the hats and scarves is gorgeous! (of course) You're the only woman I know that has gotten prettier while going through Chemo!! I've been praying for you and Billy and the kids! I know you're doing great but I also know it's still very hard. Praying for an abundance of strength and peace. Talk to ya soon!
